Michael J. Fitzgerald, CPA/PFS, CFP, MST is President of Fitzgerald Financial Partners, LLC, which provides comprehensive investment advisory and wealth advisory services to active professionals, entrepreneurs, executives and real estate investors. Michael earned his Masters and Bachelor’s degrees from Texas A&M University and is experienced in many different areas of advisory services. Michael is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is accredited as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. There are less than 3,200 CPAs in the world with this specialized accreditation. Michael is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP)® licensee and has passed the Series 65 Exam and is IAR (Investment Advisor Representative) of Fitzgerald Financial Partners, LLC a (RIA), Registered Investment Advisor Firm.

Prior to moving back to Houston to form Fitzgerald Financial Partners, LLC, he gained extensive experience with a variety of different accounting firms and wealth management boutique firms, where he obtained unique experiences in various industries (Real Estate, Energy Trading, Oil & Gas, and Manufacturing). Michael’s experience includes work at the “Big 4 Accounting Firm” of Ernst & Young, LLP and as the Director of Wealth Management for a Washington, DC investment advisory firm, where he helped manage a $175 million dollar investment portfolio. Michael has extensive experience working with real estate investors, from those just starting out to multi-billion companies and their unique problems.

In addition to his years of experience as a financial professional, Michael has a Masters of Science in Accounting -Tax Consulting Track from Texas A&M University as well as a Bachelors degree in Business Administration in Accounting.

Michael is especially knowledgeable in the issues facing Real Estate Investors and their families. Michaels’s specialty in retirement and education planning is complemented by his knowledge of tax planning, investment allocations and real estate retirement accumulation planning.

Michael is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and is the founder and President of Fitzgerald Financial Partners, LLC, a Fee-Only Investment Advisory & Wealth Management service firm located in Houston, Texas.
